Refund Policy
Effective date: April 25, 2026
This Refund Policy applies to services, tuning, diagnostics, coding, programming, dyno time, parts, labor, and related work performed by OG Performance and Tuning.
General Policy
OG Performance and Tuning provides custom automotive services that require technician time, equipment use, software access, diagnostic review, parts ordering, and/or custom calibration work. Because these services are individualized to each vehicle and customer request, completed labor and completed custom services are generally non-refundable.
Custom Performance Tuning
Custom performance tuning, dyno tuning, transmission tuning, ECU/TCU calibration work, and related calibration services are non-refundable once the tuning process has begun or the service has been completed.
If a customer believes there is an obvious tune-related issue, OG Performance and Tuning will review the concern and make reasonable efforts to inspect, diagnose, and correct tune-related issues when appropriate. Vehicle mechanical issues, pre-existing faults, improper installation, unsupported modifications, fuel quality issues, hardware limitations, customer-requested changes, third-party software changes, or changes made after delivery are not considered refundable tune issues.
Diagnostics, Coding, Programming, and ECU Services
Diagnostic labor, coding, programming, cloning, recovery attempts, electrical troubleshooting, module work, and inspection time are billed for technician time and are generally non-refundable, even if the requested result cannot be completed due to vehicle condition, locked modules, failed hardware, missing information, unsupported software, prior modifications, or third-party restrictions.
ECU/module recovery and cloning services may involve risk due to the condition of customer-supplied electronics, prior programming attempts, hardware faults, water damage, voltage issues, or unknown module history. Fees for attempted work may still apply.
Dyno Rental and Shop Time
Dyno rental, setup time, technician time, and shop time are non-refundable once the appointment begins. Missed appointments, late arrivals, or vehicles that are not ready for dyno use may be subject to cancellation fees or rescheduling fees.
Parts and Special Orders
Special-order parts, electrical components, software licenses, tuning credits, unlock services, and customer-approved ordered items may be non-refundable once ordered, opened, installed, programmed, or used. Manufacturer warranty terms may apply where available.
Customer-supplied parts are not covered by OG Performance and Tuning parts warranties. Labor related to installing, removing, diagnosing, or replacing customer-supplied parts is generally non-refundable.
Deposits and Appointments
Deposits may be required for appointments, tuning sessions, special orders, or larger jobs. Deposits may be applied toward the final invoice. Deposits may be non-refundable if parts have been ordered, shop time has been reserved, or work has begun.
Revisions and Follow-Up
When applicable, reasonable follow-up review may be offered for service-related concerns reported promptly after service completion. Additional work requested outside the original scope, changes in vehicle setup, added modifications, fuel changes, new fault codes, mechanical repairs, or unrelated issues may require additional labor or tuning fees.
No Guarantee of Specific Results
Performance results vary based on vehicle condition, modifications, fuel quality, environmental conditions, drivetrain loss, hardware limitations, ECU/TCU strategy, and safety limits. OG Performance and Tuning does not guarantee specific horsepower, torque, acceleration, fuel economy, emissions readiness, or drivability results.
